Vinnie Strumolo,
LMFT- Chief Executive Officer, Chief Clinical Officer
• Mr. Vincent Strumolo has been working in the trauma, mental health and addictions arena since 1990.
• He was formerly the Chief Executive Officer at the Treehouse, a 180 bed Addiction Campuses facility in Scurry, Texas. He started the flagship Treehouse facility for Addiction Campuses.
• He has also held the positions of Clinical Director and Director of Performance Improvement/Risk Management and Compliance at psychiatric hospitals in California and Pennsylvania.
• Vinnie’s systemic leadership and clinical systems strategies have created integrated and silo free departments often the problems within treatment centers.
• He has gained extensive training through his experiences as a licensed therapist, crisis intervention therapist on the mobile crisis response team in Broward County and as a clinician. He also trained law enforcement personnel in Broward County, FL on Crisis Intervention Training (CIT)
• Mr. Strumolo has co-authored a book chapter “A Non-traditional Treatment of Youth with Conduct Disorders” which was published in 1998 (Carolina Academic Press).
• Mr. Strumolo has consulted on and developed clinical programs that are “Real Time” and data driven at his psychiatric hospitals and more recently at his substance rehabilitation facilities. He designs clinical systems, performance improvement programs, utilization management programs, and clinical continuing education programs.
• He has held various Quality, Risk Management and Compliance positions at the senior leadership level for various psychiatric hospital organization.
• Mr. Strumolo has been a forward thinker in the field of post traumatic stress and has developed a framework for therapy called Resolution Focused Therapy (RFT). RFT is an integrated and systemic approach in treating trauma and unresolved issues in life.
• Mr. Strumolo’s RFT System of care won recognition from Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (TJC) when his previous employer received the 2001 Ernest A. Codman Award for performance improvement in behavioral healthcare.
• Mr. Strumolo has performed workshops at many national and international Conferences.
Gerald Lang,
Chief Operations Officer
• Gerald received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas.
• He has held the positions of COO, Director of Quality, Senior Director Quality/Risk and Program Director at several addiction and behavioral health facilities and hospitals.
• He has directed start-up of multiple healthcare operations, The Greenhouse (an AAC addiction treatment facility), Life Changes (an addiction treatment program in FL, and started the Treehouse (an Addiction Campus facility) with Vinnie
• Gerald is experienced with initial and continuing facility licensing with the State, Carf, CMS, and The Joint Commission organizations
Robert Escalon,
JD, EMBA- Chief Financial Officer
• Robert has experience in law, business and healthcare. Robert brings a vast knowledge and acumen in law, finance, operations management, administration and human resources.
• Robert went to work for the iconic Greenhouse Spa, built by Stanly Marcus of Neiman Marcus fame and helped with the financial management and oversight of that entity for 9 years. In 2011, American Addiction Centers, Inc. (AAC) purchased the Greenhouse Spa and repurposed it to use as an in-patient, residential substance abuse treatment center. Robert was retained as part of the start-up team to execute such start-up and he remained with AAC through 2017 helping grow such facility to 130 beds, an outpatient clinic and a sober hotel.
• Robert served as the facility Finance and Business Manager until his departure to reunite with Vinnie Strumolo at Addiction Campuses.
• At Addiction Campuses Robert served as Director of Human Resources and reported directly to Vinnie Strumolo.
• Robert holds a business degree in Finance from the University of Houston, a law degree from Oklahoma City University and an Executive MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Brenda Munnerlyn,
RN, BSN, CARN - Director of Nursing
• Brenda Munnerlyn has been a nurse for 30 years. The first 10 years of nursing consisted of Emergency Room and Medical ICU along with Home Health on the side. While the next 10 years leaned into the management and leadership role through home health.
• In 2015 her nursing career would combine that experience as well as learn many new dimensions of nursing as she assisted in opening an Addiction detox facility in a rural area. Over the next 4 years that company grew from 60 bed to 180 beds. As well as helped the parent company open 3 other detox facilities in Massachusetts, Mississippi, and Ohio.
• From 2019-2021 she helped shape the medical program to assist patients to the path of recovery. In late 2021 she returned back to the hospital setting as a house supervisor and later opened a detox unit within the surgery center.
• Brenda is responsible for leading the nursing and medical team with the goal of providing the highest quality medical care and compassion for patients. Through these programs she assisted the facilities, defined and maintained the standards of nursing practice within the facility, assessed the quality of care rendered, and initiated the development of policies and procedures that govern the nursing services. Addiction and recovery from trauma takes months to heal from. It’s important to heal not only the body but the mind and spirit as well.
Laura Green Zalkovsky, LMFT, LCDC, ESMHL - Clinical Director
• Laura was born and raised in Texas and grew up in the ranching, equine and rodeo world. She received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. She is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) as well as certified with P.A.T.H., as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL).
• Laura has been working with the Resolutions Healthcare leadership team since 2015. She developed and facilitated an Equine Assisted Therapy program for Vinnie at her previous employment, but has also excelled in her trauma based clinical education and carries over 17 years’ experience with addiction recovery.
• Laura has been involved with the equine arena since childhood. She has developed and attained excellence in the integration of equine assisted programming with trauma-based care. She has attained her mental health and addiction degrees under Vinnie’s clinical supervision and has interned with Vinnie’s trauma treatment paradigm RFT© while at their previous employment. Laura has gone on to practice the RFT model of trauma resolution at Resolutions Healthcare.
• Laura and Vinnie have now integrated the Trauma and Addictions clinical programming into their Resolutions Healthcare philosophy and will be offering this proprietary program at all facilities.
• Laura has spearheaded the opening of our outpatient offices in Gun Barrel City and Kaufman, TX.
Alice Keller
Director of Administrative Services
Alice has been in the healthcare field since 2011. Throughout that period she has worked with in multiple programs with Vinnie, and has worked up from a behavioral health tech to the Director of Administrative services. Alice has her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Managment.
Morris Crosby
Program Director
• Morris received his Bachelor’s degree for Texas State University where he was also on the football team.
• A program director with more than 10 years of experience, Morris is very experienced in direct patient care in a variety of treatment settings. A strong leader with a proven background, Morris was the Program Director at Addiction Campuses for 5 years. Where he managed and trained a team of over 30 individuals who provided direct patient care, and efficient program flow.
Dalton Blazek
Director of Wilderness and Experiential
• Dalton has been in the field of healthcare since 2015
• He has worked with Vinnie during the time at the Treehouse. Dalton has successfully developed a “Wilderness Program” course that was custom built to meet the needs of any individual
• Dalton is trained in survival skills as well as being Certified Christian Counselor and licensed Minister. Dalton works with every client at the facility during their stay to give them the ability to connect as family
Anthony Keller
Director of Facilities
• After his distinguished service in the United States Marine Corps as a Military Policeman. Anthony applied his experience in safety and security at Martin Health Systems and the Florida State Correctional Institute.
• Notably, Anthony played a key role in the successful launch and growth of a leading addiction treatment facility outside of Dallas, Tx. From start up, the facility safely expanded its capacity from a 60 bed operation on a 40 acre site to a thriving 180 bed facility encompassing 65 acres.
• He brings a wealth of experience in facility operations management, having served as Safety and Operations Director with a proven record of maintaining a Joint Commission complaint facility.
